CREAM BUTTER & SUGAR TILL FLUFFY. BEAT IN EGGS & VANILLA. SIFT TOGETHER FLOUR, COCOA, BAKING POWDER, SODA & SALT. ADD TO CREAMED MIXTURE ALTERNATELY WITH MILK. SHAPE INTO 2 10X1-1/2 IN. ROLLS. WRAP IN WAXED PAPER. CHILL OVERNIGHT. CUT INTO 1/8 IN. SLICES. BAKE ON UNGREASED COOKIE SHEET 325 DEG. FOR 10 MIN. COOL. COMBINE FILLING INGREDIENTS UNTIL SMOOTH & CREAMY. PUT COOKIES TOGETHER SANDWICH STYLE WITH FILLING.
