Grand Marnier Glaze
2/3 cup heavy (whipping) cream
8 oz. bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped (recommended Lindt)
2 tablespoons Grand Marnier

1. In a small saucepan, bring the cream just to the simmer over medium heat. Remove the pan from the heat and add the chocolate. Let the mixture stand for 1 min., add the Grand Marnier and stir until smooth. Let stand for 30 min. or until cool and slightly thickened.
2. Work on a piece of wax paper, with the cake on a rack. Using a metal spatula, spread the glaze over the cake. Scrape up excess glaze and cover any bare spots. Refrigerate 10 min. to set glaze. If refrigerated for a long time, glaze will loose its sheen, but it will return if allowed to come to room tempearature.
