Mt. Rainer was a great experience. The views were great. On July 3rd the last section of the drive opened and there was still over 5 feet of snow. The sound of running water coming down everywhere through the rocks is very relaxing and interesting. There is a drive that circles the mountain. We stayed at a bed and breadfast just outside the park but there is also a nice lodge inside the park.
