Port Washington is just north of Milwaukee. It is on the shore of Lake Michigan. There is a great fish restaurant overlooking the lake called the Fish Shanty. On a cliff overlooking the lake is a beautiful city park. The 1200 is a bed and breakfast in Port Washington.
East Troy has the East Troy Electric Railroad that runs ten miles to Mukwonago and back. At Mukwonago there is the Elegant Farmer which is a food store with local products, and apple and strawberry picking. Nearby is Green Meadows farm which offers tours of a working farm to families.
