We stayed at the Hilton resort on Myrtle Beach. Myrtle beach is very large, with many high rise condos and hotels. There are many families vacationing here. There are many restaurants serving mostly fried fish but we found a very nice up scale (not for kids) restaurant called Croissants Bistro and Bakery. We also went to 3 different shows, one at the Alabama theater (the best show) and two othes at the Carolina Opry. The shows are very similar to Branson shows with about 10 dancers and about 8 muscians. The shows are fast paced and enjoyable. We also found a beautiful sculpture gardens Brookgreen Gardens - a very relaxing, tranquil garden estate. We went in August so the himidity was 85-95% hot and humid. We had rain on our last day and a half.
