A very relaxing 60 mile/4 hour car ferry crosses Lake Michigan from Manitowoc WI (3 hours north of Chicago) to Lundington MI. The ferry is very large and can carry up to 125 cars and trucks and up to 500 people. The ferry continually crosses Lake Michigan. We crossed the lake and then stayed overnight in a small inn across from the lake and harbor in Lundington. We enjoyed the small community and excellent restaurants.
