Sault Ste. Marie is where the Algoma Central Railway (Wisconsin Central) begins. This is a 23 car train that takes tourists up to the Agawa Canyon (3 hours/100 miles). The train ride goes through Ontario Canada and has spectacular views. The canyon has towering cliffs, sparkling waterfalls and beautiful scenery. It is a 3,000 sq mile wildlife sanctuary since 1925.
