Rafting the Colorado river is a great experience. We did a four hour, no white water, easy raft trip. The trip was organized by a tour company that picks people up at their hotel, takes them about 4 hours north of Sedona, has rafts holding 22 people and a very experienced tour guide, serves lunch, and returns people to their hotel. It is a 12 hour day. The ride to the Glen Canyon Dam goes through Indian lands and the Painted Desert. The float trip goes 15 miles to the entrance of the Grand Canyon. The views....WOW!
