Las Vegas is a 24 hour city. Each hotel has a theme and is very large and elaborate.

 

Downtown there is a street covered with a light canopy. Every night they have light shows. The entire steet is air conditioned.

 

We ate at Emeril's restaurant inside the MGM Hotel and Casino. We had a "sampler" which consisted of:

Pacific Oysters on the Half Shell topped with a Melon Coulis, Diced Cucumber and Cristy Fried Prosciutto Ham

Creole Spiced Jumbo Gulf shrimp on Roasted Sweet Potatoes with Bourbon & Brown Sugar Butter Sauce

Pan Roasted Ling Cod on a Warm Asparagus, Sunchoke & House Cured Bacon Relish with a Four Onion Reduction

Crispy Skinned snapper on Roasted Garlic Creamers with Balsamic Reduction, Grilled Vegetable Ratatouille and shaved Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese

Grilled Beef Tenderlion stuffed with Brie Cheese on a Wild Mushroom Ragout with Sizzled Leeks

Mango, Strawbery and Lychee Nut on coconut Rice with Toasted Almonds and Basil Coulis
It was great!!!
