Boston is a large city with a lot of American Revolution history. We walked the Freedom Trail and saw many historical places. We also went on "Old Ironsides". We stayed at the Fairmont Hotel which is a very nice old style hotel. Boston has many great places to eat. We at Italian in the "Noth End" at La Famiglia Giorgio and had desert in one of the many 24 hour bakeries. We had wonderful gelaton, Boston Cream pie and cookies at Mike's Pastry. We had seafood at Legal Seafoods and at Skipjacks. We visited Harvard and saw Harvard Square. We took a trolley around the city and did some walking and some sightseeing by trolley. We also enjoyed an evening at the Boston Fine Arts Museum.
