"Decadent" French Toast
Ingredients
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 tablespoon light corn syrup
1 loaf French or Italian bread
5 eggs
1-1/4 cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
Mix together brown sugar, butter and corn syrup. Heat until boiling
and boil one minute, stirring constantly. Pour into 9x12 pan,
sprayed with Pam. Slice bread into 3/4 inch slices and nestle
into syrup. Put eggs, milk and vanilla into blender and whirl
for 15 seconds. Pour over bread (At this point, the recipe may
be covered and refrigerated overnight). Bake uncovered 30-35 minutes
in a 350 degree oven.
6-8 servings
