Cappuccino Twirls
Makes 20 Twirls
Dough:3 3/4 cup all-purpose flour, divided1/4 cup sugar1 envelope
Fleischmann's RapidRise Yeast1 teaspoon salt3/4 cup milk1/4 cup
butter1/4 cup water2 eggs, beatenCappuccino Filling:1/3 cup butter2
tablespoons instant coffee granules1/2 cup sugar2 teaspoons cinnamon
Directions
In a large bowl, combine 2 cups flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
Heat milk, butter, and water to 120° F to 130° F. Stir
into dry ingredients. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed of electric
mixer. Beat in eggs, then 1/2 cup flour. Beat 2 minutes at high
speed. Stir in enough of the remaining flour to make a soft dough.
Knead on lightly floured surface until smooth and elastic, about 6 to 8 minutes. Cover; let rest on floured surface 10 minutes.
While dough is resting, make Cappuccino Filling: Melt butter. Stir in coffee granules, sugar and cinnamon; set aside to cool slightly.
Roll dough to a 21 X 12-inch rectangle. Spread evenly with the Cappuccino Filling. Beginning at wide end, roll up as for a jelly roll. Pinch seam to seal. Cut into 20 pieces. Place, cut sides up, in a greased 13 X 9-inch pan. Cover; set in a warm place and let rise until doubled in size, about 60 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350° F. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown. Set pan on wire rack to cool.
