Sedona AZ is a few hours north of Phoenix. The temperature is cooler and it enjoys changes of season. The ground or rocks are red and the views of the valleys is great! There are many artist stores and a great resort there. There are jeep trips into the mountains. We stayed at the end of the town at the Sedona Real. Oak Creek canyon is about 15 minutes north (see other page) and is tree lined with a creek runing through it.
